Campomarino is the seaside village of Maruggio, and its beach is the closest to the house: one minute by car. Along the same stretch of coast:

Parco Dune di Campomarino — a nature reserve of 41 hectares: wild dunes and Mediterranean scrub. Walk the boardwalks at dawn.
Spiaggia d’Ayala — a wild beach with no facilities and no noise.

A regional nature park of pine forest, rocky coves and emerald water. The beach is reached on foot through the trees — no cars, no noise.
